Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 June 2026
Digital Gulf Pro ("we", "us", "our") provides AI-powered reputation management services to restaurants and hospitality businesses in the United Arab Emirates and the broader Gulf region. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
We deliberately keep the data we touch to a minimum. We don't sell data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't use it to train public models.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to:
- Visitors of digitalgulfpro.com
- Restaurants that sign up for our free audit, free trial, or paid plans
- Anyone who contacts us by email or via the contact form
2. What data we collect
We collect only what we need to deliver the service:
- Contact information you provide — name, business name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number, your Google Business Profile link.
- Public Google review data — your restaurant's public Google reviews, including reviewer display names that Google itself publishes. We never access or store Google account identifiers, email addresses, or other private reviewer data.
- Operational data — drafts of replies generated by our AI, our replies that you approve, monthly performance reports.
- Basic website analytics — page views and referrer (no third-party advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking).
3. How we use your data
We use your data exclusively to:
- Generate your free reputation audit and any subsequent reports
- Draft, publish, and monitor replies to your Google reviews (with your prior consent — see Section 5)
- Contact you by email or WhatsApp about your service
- Comply with our legal obligations
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train public AI models. AI processing of review content happens via established commercial APIs whose providers we have selected for their enterprise privacy commitments.
4. UAE PDPL and EU GDPR compliance
We comply with:
- UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), commonly referred to as the UAE PDPL.
- EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Regulation 2016/679) for any data subject located in the European Union.
Under both frameworks, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Object to or restrict processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, email zineb@digitalgulfpro.com. We respond within 30 days as required by both laws.
5. Google Business Profile access
When you start a free trial or paid plan, you add Digital Gulf Pro as a Manager on your Google Business Profile. You remain the owner of the Profile at all times. We never request ownership transfer. You can revoke our access in one click directly from your Google account.
Your Google Business Profile is yours. It stays yours when you start with us, while you work with us, and after you leave. We have no claim on it.
6. Data retention
We keep your data only as long as we need it:
- Active clients: for the duration of your subscription, plus 12 months after cancellation for accounting purposes.
- Free audit requests that don't convert: deleted after 90 days.
- Anonymous website analytics: 24 months maximum.
You can request immediate deletion at any time via email.
7. Security
We protect your data using:
- TLS encryption on all data transmission
- Encrypted storage of authentication tokens
- Access limited to the founder (Zineb A.) — no third-party employees handle your data today
- Regular security reviews of our pipeline and dependencies
8. Sharing with third parties
We only share data with the operational service providers required to run the service:
- Google — to publish replies on your Google Business Profile (this is the whole point of the service).
- AI model providers — for generating reply drafts. We have selected providers whose enterprise agreements forbid using our prompts to train their models.
- Email and hosting infrastructure — to deliver reports and host this website.
We do not share data with advertisers, marketers, or data brokers.
9. Cookies
This website uses only the strictly necessary cookies for site functionality (such as remembering your language preference). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We do not require a cookie banner because we don't collect data that requires consent under EU or UAE rules.
10. Children
Our service is intended for businesses, not individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify active clients by email at least 14 days in advance.
